1969 - Brian Hugh Warner is born on January 5

1989 - 1990 - The band started as Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids

1992 - The band changed their name to just Marilyn Manson

1992 - 1993 - They signed with Nothing Records

1994 - Portrait of an American Family released and the band toured with Nine Inch Nails. Manson ripped up a copy of the Book of Morman while on stage. He was given the titled of Reverand by Anton Szandor LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan.

1995 - Smells Like Children released

1996 - Antichrist Superstar released

1997 - Manson was discussed during a Senate panel dealing with the effects of today's music on the youth of America.

1998 - Mechanical Animals released - went to #1 best seller in one week

2000 - Holy Wood (In the Shawdow of the Valley of Death) was released
