The Book of Revelation

QUESTION: The book of Revelation - Why is it important?

ANSWER:

The Book of Revelation is important because it is God's word on when Jesus Christ will return. It is the final glimpse into the final judgment that will occur at the end times.

While there is much debate on all the prophecies of the book, the book of Revelation is God's word on the end times and judgment. Within Revelation, there are many visions that are described whose meanings have been debated, but we are also told that there will be many false prophets and the book serves as preparation for understanding the events that will surround Jesus Christ's return and the restoration of His Kingdom.

The importance of the Book of Revelation lies in the fact that it explains what will happen to all people at the time of Jesus Christ's return. It explains what happens to believers, those that are uncertain, and those that have rejected Jesus Christ completely.

In the modern era, where many believe that many of the events have already started to occur, it could easily be viewed as the most important book outside of the gospels.

What do you think?
We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

Yes, I want to follow Jesus

I am a follower of Jesus

I still have questions
